“Friends of Radipole Community Wood”

Since our first meeting on 12 June 2003 we have achieved a great deal:

Local Nature Reserve status,

Put in a gate and two new benches,

Drawn up a Management Plan, and

Raised money on Carnival Day to buy tools.

Now we plan to meet again, to cut the wild flower meadow, and to thin out some of the trees to make space for the rest to grow. Everyone is welcome, either to lend a hand, or to tell us what you think needs to be done. It’s your wood too.
